11 Bible Verses To Help You Overcome Anxiety
With all that is going on in the world and our personal lives, it is easy to feel anxiety and worry. If you’re in need of some peace of mind right now, try meditating on these scriptures and give all your worries to God, trusting He has everything under control.

How to meditate:
Find a quiet and comfortable place and take some deep calming breaths. Read these scriptures and repeat them to yourself. Think about what God might be trying to tell you through these verses.
If you’d like, you can set a time period to do this; 2 minutes, 5 minutes, or 10 minutes for example, or meditate on these scriptures for as long as you need until the anxiety settles.
In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8
Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety. Proverbs 11:14
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
…casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7
For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7

My son, do not lose sight of these—keep sound wisdom and discretion, and they will be life for your soul and adornment for your neck. Then you will walk on your way securely, and your foot will not stumble. If you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. Proverbs 3:21-24
Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:31-33
Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit. Jeremiah 17:7-8
You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Isaiah 26:3
